ProCredit Bank to successfully place series G bonds worth a total of UAH 100 million

25.05.2011

ProCredit Bank has successfully placed UAH 100 million of series G bonds at the yield of 13% p.a. Demand for these bonds, sold to Ukrainian and non-resident investors – banks, investment and insurance companies – has overtaken the offer by 2.5 times.

Placement has been taking place via Investment Capital Ukraine LLC – an authorised underwriter – on Perspektyva and PFTS stock exchanges from 17 May 2011 to 24 May 2011.

«Our bank has an impeccable public credit history. So far we have been able to issue and timely pay off four issues of bonds worth more than UAH 250 million. This had a positive effect on investor demand and helped attract long-term resources to finance loan portfolio growth. Strong demand for our bonds and their yield of 13% p.a. demonstrate that today Ukrainian and foreign investors have confidence in our bank. It’s also a reassuring factor for further bond issues», - says Viktor Ponomarenko, Deputy General Manager.

As reported earlier, ProCredit Bank issued UAH 200 million of G series and H series bonds with a maturity of four years and monthly interest, which are puttable after two years. Coupon rate for the first 2 years is 13.5 %.
