In what currency to open a card account?

You may open a card account in US dollars, hryvna and euro.

It is possible for clients to open multicurrency accounts at ProCredit Bank. These allow access to US dollars and hryvna using one card. Unfortunately card accounts in euro cannot be multicurrency.

What documents are needed to open a card account and to issue a payment card?

In order to open a card account  please bring
1. Your passport.
2. Your identification code of taxpayer (for residents)
to any branch of ProCredit Bank.

How much time is usually needed to issue a payment card?

A standard time to issue a payment card as 5-7 banking days starting from submission of a complete application. At extra cost you have the possibility to get your card issued within 2-3 banking days.

Where and how to obtain your card?

You сan obtain your card in the branch of ProCredit Bank, where it was applied for. It is also possible to arrange the receipt of the card in another, more convenient branch of ProCredit Bank.

Does ProCredit Bank pay interest on the amounts remaining on the account?

ProCredit Bank pays interest on the amounts remaining on Pension and Saving Cards.

Does ProCredit Bank work with chip cards?

ProCredit Bank issues payment cards with a magnetic strip only. You can use cards with chip (microprocessor) and magnetic strip in ProCredit Bank’s ATMs and POS-terminals.

What kind of card is best for a trip abroad?

ProCredit Bank’s payment cards are international, they can be used all over the world independently of currency of the card account. Currency conversion of an operation is calculated at the exchange rate of VISA and the commercial rate of ProCredit Bank.

In order to minimize exchange rate difference we recommend the following:
- a card in hryvna for transactions in Ukraine;
- a card in euro for trips to Europe;
- a card in US dollars in all other countries.
