Born in 1951 in Kostrino village, Zakarpattia Oblast.
Studied at the Department of Woodcraft, Uzhhorod School of Applied Art, 1966-70; Faculty of Interior and Furniture Design, Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, 1970-75.
Teaches vocational subjects at Uzhhorod School of Applied Art since 1975.
