Tips for a Successful Interview

«In my work it often happens like this: First you get acquainted with a person as a candidate, and then this person becomes your friend and colleague» Yaroslava, Staff Recruitment
Today, many people believe that a job at an international organisation or bank can only be secured by pulling strings. In contrast, ProCredit’s approach to doing business requires transparency and the openness of all procedures for the benefit of the bank’s customers, partners and staff, and also for job seekers. To take part in a competitive selection process, all you have to do is to fill out an application form on this site and send us your CV.

– How to compile a proper CV?
Your CV will surely attract attention if you describe your responsibilities at previous places of employment and list your most important accomplishments. Also, please state the vacancy you are applying for in your CV so that it goes directly to the staff recruitment specialist responsible for handling that vacancy.

– Is it necessary to prepare for the interview?
A successful interview requires thorough preparation. That is why we advise every candidate to gather as much information about our bank as possible before the interview, and arrive for the interview on time. Try to feel at ease at the interview and be sincere and open when describing your work experience. There are no right or wrong answers and, likewise, no good or bad candidates. There are simply candidates who do, or do not, completely meet the requirements for a particular position.

– What are the stages of the selection process for new employees?
As far as positions in our Kyiv Head Office are concerned, a staff recruitment specialist will hold the first interview together with the head of the department offering the vacancy. If the candidate interviews successfully, he/she is invited for the next interview with the head of the division or the executive director, depending on the level of the vacancy. An integral part of the recruitment procedure for our branches is mathematics and logic test. All applicants we are interested in are required to take a written test in mathematics and logic in our Head Office in Kyiv. The results of the test will help us appraise your ability to handle both numerical and logical information. Having successfully undergone the test, you will be invited for an interview with our recruitment officer and Head of the department, in which the vacancy you apply for is opened.

– Is it worth sending a CV if there is no suitable vacancy offered?
If the bank is interested in an applicant but cannot offer a suitable vacancy, his/her CV is filed in our database. Should a suitable vacancy become available, the HR specialist will then get in touch with the candidate.

Above all, we need responsible, customer-oriented people. We are less concerned about higher education and previous work experience.

You can pursue your career in the financial sector together with us, or later change professional fields, having gained experience working for an international bank.

We are looking forward to your CVs and to meeting you in person!
