In 2006, ProCredit Bank celebrated its five-year anniversary by presenting five playgrounds to the neighbourhoods in which it operates. New playgrounds were set up in Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, Mariupol, Zaporizhia and Odesa. The playground’s opening became quite an event both for local kids and for their parents. Families living nearby, as well as representatives of the municipal authorities, attended the opening panels in each city.

The playground equipment is produced in Ukraine in accordance with Western quality and safety standards and is approved by the Ministry of Health. These family recreation zones are very popular among kids and their parents even in wintertime. In 2007, ProCredit Bank installed three playgrounds in Donetsk. In May 2008, ProCredit Bank presented a new children’s playground to the residents of Odesa at 98 Dneprovskaya Doroha.

Additionally, ProCredit branches support local social initiatives to improve the infrastructure of the districts and towns in which the bank operates; renovating recreation areas and installing and painting benches in parks and green areas are just a few examples.
